Suzanne Marie Pavelka, 61, of Manhattan, passed away Sunday, July 19th. She had worked as a legal assistant for Oleen Law Firm, USD 383 as a librarian at the Manhattan High School and the Amanda Arnold Grade School.
Suzanne was born in Kyoto, Japan on March 6, 1959, the daughter of missionaries, the late Joann Marie (Friederich) and David Lloyd Lindberg. Thirty-seven years ago she was united in marriage on September 18, 1992, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Richard L. Pavelka, who survives of the home. She graduated from the South Shore High School in Chicago, Illinois.
Suzanne is survived by her husband, Richard of Manhattan; two sons Jeffrey (Tonya Roberts) Pavelka and Anthony Pavelka, both of Manhattan, KS; two sisters, Wendy Ann Smith, of Jackson, TN; Teresa Kay Zimmer, of Anchorage, Alaska; three brothers, Frederick Stephen Lindberg, of Thousand Oaks, CA; Christopher Allen (Mary) Lindberg, of Seattle; Todd Andrew (Latoya) Linberg, of Chicago and her grandson, Arthur.
