POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY —Law enforcement had good news to report on Tuesday.
Two dinosaur statues, stolen overnight August 31 - September 1, have been recovered, according to Wamego Police. On Sunday police reported a citizen offered a reward for information leading to the recovery of the statues, according to a social media report.
Thanks to a tip received by Officer Albin and with assistance from SMPD Sergeant Wood the dinosaurs were recovered. Police have not reported an arrest or additional details.
