Juncion City Public Works Director Ray Ibarra said Sunday that city crews were near the end of their snow removal effort. They spent the day working to clear out slushy areas.
The city crews will return to normal hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.
Junction City sanitation pick up on Monday will be for the normal Friday trash removal.
Ibarra estimated more than 300 tons of salt have been used on streets through this past Thursday.
County and KDOT crews have also spent long hours removing snow from roads.
