An urban and small stream flood advisory was issued Thursday morning that included Geary County, northeastern Dickinson, Morris and southwestern Riley County. It was put into effect by the National Weather Service until 9:30 a.m. Heavy rains fell during a thunderstorm that began in the early morning hours.
Two to three inches of rain had fallen in some areas with another one to two inches possible.
