Members of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association helped with raising a new U.S. flag outside the home of Ligia Paquette, 1012 Plains Drive, on the west side of Junction City Thursday evening.
An existing flag was due to be replaced with a new American flag. The surprise arrival of the group to help with this project was appreciated by Ligia. "I was extremely honored and thankful to this group of soldiers. " Ligia also added, "They brought tears to my eyes, it was beautiful. "
Ligia noted that there were both some retired and active duty military members helping with the project.
