Phase one of the Education Building project at 131 West 7th Street for the C.L. Hoover Opera House is nearing completion.&nbsp;

Opera House Co-Director Joe Markley said the building will be ready for the public to view at the end of December.&nbsp;

This project was prompted by the expanding youth education program. Youth from pre-K to 2th grade, and community theater could use the facility. The cost of the project is calculated at $2.5 million, with efforts still working on raising the final $500,000.

The building will also include offices for the Arts Council and Junction City Little Theater plus a studio for the Arts Council.
