MANHATTAN —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting.
Just before 5:30p.m. Sunday, officers filed a report for criminal damage to property and criminal discharge of a firearm in the 700 block of Yuma Street in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 41-year-old woman and BFC LLC reported an unknown suspect shot a gun multiple times hitting an unoccupied house. No injuries were reported.
The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $7,000. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
