Kevin D. Langdon

Kevin D. Langdon of Talmage, KS, passed away on January 30, 2026 at the age of 70. He was born on October 4, 1955 to Marvin and Helen (Dickinson) in Salina, KS. After graduating from Solomon High School in 1973 and then Hutchinson Community College, he was co-owner of Abilene Sport Shack and then was ultimately a Rural Mail Carrier for the US Postal Service, where he was well known delivering mail and making close connections with many customers.

Kevin married Pat Howard in 1983 and they had children Brooke (Michelle) St. John and Nolan (Dana Horne) all of Denver, CO. They later divorced and Kevin remarried Tina Wilkens, to which he later divorced.

For many years he played softball and countless rounds of golf – finally making a Hole-In-One on hole number three in Chapman, an accomplishment he cherished. Two of Kevin’s loves were his three grandchildren and the Kansas Jayhawks – especially the banter that went with his “Let’s go Jayhawks” pre-game text message and the subsequent “Never A Doubt” that followed a Rock Chalk victory.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, his former wife Tina and his nephew, Matt Langdon. He is survived by his children, grandchildren Watson and McCoy St. John, Wyatt Langdon, brother Mic (Kris) Langdon, sisters Marlys (Kenny) Rohrer, Launee (Norman) Durant, many nieces and a nephew as well as Tina’s children Zach and Brooke Wilkens.

A memorial service will be held graveside at Prairie Dale Cemetery February 14, 2026 at 11:00am followed by a gathering at the Talmage Event Center, all are welcome.
