The Geary County Sheriff's Department said on Tuesday at 0808 a.m. Deputies responded to the westbound I-70 mile marker 310 rest area for an injured female. The female was found on the sidewalk with facial injuries and transported to Stormont Vail for evaluation.
The case is still under investigation.
