Hospital officials have confirmed that on Thursday, Nov. 26, that family medicine physician, Dr. Jason Butler at Geary Community Hospital, tested positive for COVID-19. Dr. Butler is experiencing mild symptoms and is now on quarantine at his home.
Hospital officials will be in contact with patients that he has seen since Monday, November 23rd. If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 call the GCH COVID screening line at 785.210.4214.
