JUNCTION CITY, Kan. - Geary Community Hospital released a community COVID-19 update Friday.
These numbers reflect data from the Geary Community Hospital testing site only.
Since the most recent report, there have been 72 total tests completed, bringing the total number of tests to 6,969. Of those tests, 53 were negative in this round of testing. There have been 6,051 negative tests in total since the beginning of the pandemic.
There were 10 positive tests, bringing the total of positives to 909. Currently, there are nine tests still pending results.
Five people are currently hospitalized at GCH with COVID-19, down two from the last report. Of those five that are hospitalized, two are in the Intensive Care Unit and one is on a ventilator.
As a reminder, these numbers reflect data collected from the GCH testing site only. GCH serves multiple surrounding counties and numbers exceed just Geary County.
