Junction City Brigade officials are planning to make some upgrades to the facility at Rathert Field. Brigade General Manager Cecil Aska said on the first base beer garden side of the field some changes are in order. "Particularly for our needs the actual structure what we serve beer from will probably be lowered to more of a ground level so we can move our stuff in and out."
Aska said on the third base side of the field they're looking at probably reducing the grandstand seating area. "Make that a little more kid friendly area."
Improvements are also being planned for concessions at the ballpark, and there will be some earlier conversations with food truck and restaurant personnel about coming out to do some of their specialties.
