RCPD: Suspect cut security wire to make theft at mall

MANHATTAN —Law enforcement authorities are investigating an alleged theft in Manhattan.

Just after 7:30p.m. Friday, officers filed a report for theft and criminal damage to property in the 100 block of Manhattan Town Center, 102 Manhattan Town Center in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

Dillards reported an unknown male suspect cut security wire and took 2 Louis Vuitton bags from the business.

The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $4,090. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
