Geary County Commissioners have approved the purchase of a new audio/ video system for the commission meeting room and an audio system for training use at the conference room at the County Office Building.
The cost will be $18,716.25 for the commission meeting room and will come out of the county clerk technology fund, and $1,813.72 for the conference room with those dollars coming from a facility fund. The county clerk technology fund is not supported by property tax money.
The new technology is expected to be installed within a six to eight week time frame.
