Manhattan Parks and Rec reports $21,000 burglary

RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a burglary and alleged criminal damage to property.

Just after 3p.m. Thursday, officers filed a report for burglary and criminal damage to property in the 2900 block of Stagg Hill Road, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

The City of Manhattan Parks and Recreation reported an unknown suspect damaged a screen and glass on an exterior window and then stole a 2021 Polaris 570 4x4 ranger, 4 Dewalt tools, and a MIG Welder.
