Manhattan woman injured after 2-vehicle crash

MANHATTAN—A Manhattan woman was injured in an accident just before 3:30p.m. Sunday in Manhattan,

According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2013 Hyundai Sonata driven by Mehmet Celebi, 60, of Manhattan failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign at the intersection of Wreath Avenue and Dickens Avenue in Manhattan.

The Hyundai collided with a 2011 Kia Sportage driven by Tessa Henry, 22, of Manhattan.

EMS transported Henry to Via Christi for evaluation of shoulder and side pain, according to the RCPD. Celebi was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way at a stop sign.
