The Junction City Lady Jays finished second and the Blue Jay boys third in Class 6A Regional team competition in Wichita Saturday. Since they finished in the top three both teams have qualified for the 6A State Meet next Saturday ( Oct. 28 ) in Lawrence.
Lorna Rae Pierce finished second in the girls race in 18:10.94. Anna Fontaine finished in third-place. Ethan Fontaine led the boys with a time of 16:53.73 to finish seventh.
