A pharmacy construction project will begin on Jan. 12 at Irwin Army Community Hospital. It will last through mid-March, to replace fire shutter doors and enhance patient and staff safety during emergency evacuations. According to Fort Riley while pharmacy operations will continue, patient interactions and prescription pickup will temporarily move to the lobby area in front of the pharmacy, and patients should expect longer wait times during construction.
The IACH pharmacy will offer extended hours on Saturday, Jan. 10, and Sunday, Jan. 11, to support patients ahead of construction.
