United Way of Junction City/Geary County is kicking off their Stuff the Bus collection a little bit different this year. The goal is still the same, to collect school supplies for Geary County Schools - USD 475, Chapman Schools - USD 473, and St. X in Junction City. The twist this year is a Kickoff Skate Party.
The adult Skate Party will be this Friday, July 17, 6:00-10:00 p.m., at Spin City. Admission to the event is $10 per person and the event is 21 years of age and older. In addition to the $10 admission, all attendees are encouraged to bring school supplies to benefit United Way of Junction City/Geary County's 16th Annual Stuff the Bus Collection.
There are three collection dates for Stuff the Bus. The collection sites are at the Walmart Supercenter in Junction City and Dillons.
Collection Dates are Saturday July 18, July 25, and August 1 - 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
