&nbsp;&nbsp; Dana Wiegand, Coordinator of the JC Breakfast Optimist Club’s JCHS Student of the Month, presented Irina Crispin to club members and awarded her with a $25.00 gift certificate from JC’s BBQ &amp; Grill.&nbsp; Irina is a Sophomore at Junction City High School and is in the Fine Arts and Human Services Academy.&nbsp; This is Irina’s first year at JCHS having previously attended school at Fort Leavenworth.&nbsp; She enjoys swimming, reading areas of the fine arts and cooking.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; One of the requirements for nomination is that the student reflect in words and actions the tenets of&nbsp;The Optimist Creed.&nbsp; Her nominator stated that “Irina makes all of her friends feel that there is something in the; she is just as enthusiastic about the success of others are she is about her own and she wears a cheerful countenance at all times and gives every living creature she meets a smile”.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Irina is the daughter of Jeff and Tabitha Crispin. Upon graduation from high school, she plans to attend college in an undeclared major at this time.&nbsp;
