Manhattan woman accused of attack on healthcare worker, officer

RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations following a weekend arrest.

Just before 7p.m. Saturday, officers filed a report of child endangerment, battery of a health care employee, and battery on a law enforcement officer in the 1800 block of College Avenue in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

Officers listed a 29-year-old female heathcare worker, a 43-year-old law enforcement officer and a 1-year-old male child as the victims.

Brittnee Armstrong, 31, of Manhattan, was believed to be under the influence and not adequately able to care for the minor child in her custody.

Armstrong was arrested on requested charges of of child endangerment, battery of a healthcare employee, and battery on an LEO. Total bond was set at $6,000. Armstrong was confined at the time of this report
