Hot and humid conditions are again likely this afternoon across east central Kansas, where an Excessive Heat Warning remains in place. Heat index values of 103 to 108 are expected. A few more strong to severe thunderstorms are possible today, most likely from late afternoon into the evening hours. Gusty winds and small hail will again be the main hazards.
