The Dorothy Bramlage Public Library Board of Trustees will have a vacant seat as of May 1 and are soliciting candidates now to recommend to the city commission to fill it. Cecil Aska will complete his second term and board eligibility at the end of April.&nbsp; The board gives its heartfelt thanks for his commitment and service.

Board service is limited to Geary County residents.&nbsp;Per state statute,&nbsp;Board members can serve up to two consecutive four-year terms.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Library board meetings are held on the second Monday of most months at 5:30 p.m. in the library meeting room.&nbsp;&nbsp;The board does not typically meet in August.&nbsp;
