JCHS teams split with Hayden

Junction City got a 21-point effort from Howard Johnson enroute to a 49-43 win over Hayden at JCHS Tuesday night. Sheldon Butler-Lawson scored 9 points to help the Blue Jays to the victory in a game where the lead see sawed back and forth.

The victory was the 11th of the season for Junction City and guaranteed that the Blue Jays will finish this season with a winning record.

In girls action the Lady Jays ( 2-12 ) kept the game relatively  close but in the end fell to Hayden 35-26. 

Junction City teams will host Topeka West in the Winter Spirit Week games Friday night. The King and Queen will be crowned between the girls and boys varsity games.
