On Tuesday night at the Junction City Commission meeting, Addison Allen, a local Junction City girl, announced that she raised $1,000 and is donating it to the Junction City Animal Shelter.

In a social media post, the animal shelter publicly thanked Addison for her donation.  "We are honored to acknowledge Addison for her remarkable hard work and commitment to our shelter. This is not the first time she has raised funds for us, but this time, she made it to $1,000!! Addison is a true inspiration to everyone, and we are thankful to have her in our corner."
