How did you get into rodeo?
My mom has always had performance horses and my aunt and cousin both rodeo so I have been surround by it my entire life. When I was little my parents bought me a barrel horse and I have loved it ever since.
What advice would you give to youth/high school rodeo athletes?
Be kind always. How you treat people and make them feel is way more important than winning and the best part of rodeo is the people.
What is one thing you want people to know about K-State Rodeo?
K-State Rodeo hosts a lot of events throughout the year in addition to the K-State Rodeo in February including a high school rodeo, ranch rodeo, iron women jackpot, memorial team roping and event specific clinics with professional rodeo athletes.
