
City of Junction City Snow Removal Update
Here’s our most up-to-date snow removal update as of 11:00 PM on January 25th. Our Public Works and Parks & Rec crews continue working 12 hour shifts to keep Junction City moving safely.
Crews are out salting and sanding today. We will continue to update the community as more information becomes available.
Areas addressed during this operational period include:
• Truck #671 — Cleaned residential streets in the Sutterwoods area, Olivia Farms area, North Park area, Westwood area, west side of Eisenhower Street from 11th–14th, east side of Jackson from Monroe from 18th–10th Streets, and Industrial Road to the Southwest Wastewater Plant.
• Truck #670 — Cleaned residential streets south of Ash Street and east of St. Mary's Road, including the Water Treatment Plant area.• Truck #673 — Cleaned residential streets in the Spring Valley area, Indian Ridge area, Garfield north of Ash Street to 14th Street, and Ash to 18th Street going north and south on Madison, Adams, Webster, Monroe, and Price Streets.
• Loader — Began cleaning the airport taxiway and runway, downtown parking areas, and roads surrounding schools.
• Trucks #810 and #613 — Cleaned cul-de-sacs and parking lots. Thank you to our crews for their dedication and to our residents for your patience and cooperation as snow removal efforts continue.
