WABAUNSEE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Monday in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Kia Sportage driven by Adam Bourne, 23, Topeka, was westbound on Interstate 70 at Keene Eskridge Road.
The SUV left the roadway to the right, traveled through the ditch for 200 feet and then came to a stop after striking several small trees.
EMS transported Bourne Stormont Vail. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
