RILEY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 8p.m. Monday in Riley County.
A 2011 Dodge passenger vehicle driven by Jeremy Hicks, 21, of Manhattan struck a 2018 Ford passenger vehicle driven by Nonacik Reckert, 31, of Manhattan near the intersection of Vattier Street and N. 4th Street.
Reckert was transported to Via Christi for treatment. Hicks was issued a citation for failure to yield at a yield sign.
The RCPD released no additional details.
