Hypertension awarenesss & prevention opportunities

K-State Extension, in partnership with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, is offering a free Hypertension Awareness and Prevention Program this spring. Sessions will be led by American Heart Association Certified Healthy Heart Ambassadors.

Join them February 4 at 10:30 a.m. at the Geary County 4 H/Senior Center for an overview of the program and sign ups for twice monthly health coaching sessions (February–May).

Monthly nutrition presentations will follow, all at 10:30 a.m. at the Geary County 4 H/Senior Center: • February 25 • March 4 • April 1 • May. A one time single hypertension information session will be offered February 25, at 1 p.m. at the Dorothy Bramlage Public Library. All programs are offered at no cost.
