The annual Geary County 3rd Grade Ag Day is scheduled Friday, May 10. That's where approximately 600 3rd graders in Geary USD 475 will come to the 4-H Fairgrounds at 1025 South Spring Valley Road to learn about the agriculture industry. The programs are taught by 4-H members and Extension Educational Unit members from Geary County.
Extension Agent Ginger Kopfer said that there will be classroom-type presentations and some presentations involving livestock.
There will be two sessions. The first session is from 9:15 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. and the second one is from 11:45 a.m. until 1:45 p.m.
