Monday at 3:17 p.m. Geary County Sheriff's Deputies responded to I-70 at mile maker 312 westbound for a single vehicle injury accident.
The Geary County Sheriff's Department said that Stacey J. Richard of Junction City was traveling westbound in her Toyota Sienna when she swerved to avoid debris in the roadway. Richard over corrected and lost control of her vehicle causing it to leave the roadway into the north ditch striking a tree.
Richard was transported to Stormont Vail Flint hills for medical evaluation. The vehicle was removed from the scene by Buds Wrecker Service.
