UPDATE ON WATER MAIN BREAK;
The boil water advisory is for those in the red and also the outlined green area which Geary County Rural Water Dist #1. Please see Geary Co Health Dept or Kansas Department of Health and Environment for appropriate recommendations on the boil water advisory until further notice. Junction City Public Works said that anything west of Jackson Street including Geary County Rural Water District #1 will be on a boil water advisory until further notice. information will also be on the KDHE website and we will continue to update you as we go.

Junction City Public Works reports that a main water line is broken. if you have little to no water pressure this is why. At this time, until further assessment, this effects the western side of Junction City.
City crews are already at work to manage the leak and assess just who is affected. Further updates will come from public works at a later time
