GEARY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a case of alleged animal cruelty and seeking the public’s help locating the person or persons involved in the gruesome act.
The Geary County Sheriff's office is investigating two deceased dogs that were found with gunshot wounds around Burley Hill, approximately eight mile east of Junction City, according to a social media report from the Junction City animal shelter.
The animals, a black and tan shepherd mix and a chocolate lab, were found one week apart from each other in late November and early December.
