Verona Marie Howley

Verona Marie Howley died November 26, 2020 in Clyde, KS. She was born to Albert Cyre and Susie Dallen in Clyde, KS on November 21, 1934.    Verona was raised in Clyde and was a graduate of St. Ann’s Catholic High School in Clyde.  She worked in Fairmont and Concordia until her marriage to Charles Howley on September 29, 1956.

Verona played piano, collected recipes, loved decorating for holidays and reading.  She especially loved her family and took delight in spending time with her granddaughters.  She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, the church Alter Society and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Charles preceded her in death on October 29, 2003.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald Howley and brother, Terry Cyre.

Son: Mark Howley of Clifton, KS

Daughter: Diane and husband Wayne Lenhart of Clay Center, KS

Granddaughters: Patrice (Jarrid) Herrmann, Clarissa (Edward) Mills, Addison Howley,

Great-granddaughters: Charlee Herrmann, Grace Mills and Baby Mills

Brother: Lloyd Cyre of MO

Brother: Mike and wife Edie Cyre of AZ

Graveside Services:  Friday, December  4, at 10:30 AM at the St. Marys Cemetery, Clifton, KS

Visitation: Thursday, December 3, from 4-7 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home, Clay Center, KS
