Members of the Geary County community who their first COVID-19 vaccine shot approximately four weeks ago will receive their second shot at designated times on Friday at the C. L. Hoover Opera House. That will include approximately 300 people.
Garry Berges, Emergency Management Director, said the third round of first dose vaccinations consisting of 200 vaccinations by appointment only will be held on Saturday at the Opera House. These are phase one and phase two vaccinations. "The State has not said when counties can move to a phase three because there are still numerous counties that are still trying to finish up and get people done in phase one and phase two."
