On Saturday, April 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Junction City will host an event in support of the Geary County community and neighboring areas.
During an Emergency Preparedness Fair, everyone is welcome to attend and gain insights from presentations. The fair aims to equip you with practical knowledge and skills, whether you’ve personally encountered grocery and product-line shortages during or after natural disasters, or you’ve observed other communities grappling with food scarcity and supply challenges.
The fair encourages attendees to expand their knowledge and reinforce themselves with proper coping mechanisms and developmental resiliency skills.
Topics to be covered include Canning, Gardening, Food Storage, Dehydrating, Beekeeping, Red Cross, Financial Resiliency and Emergency Auto Repair.
Mark your calendars for April 27, and attend at 1705 McFarland Road, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint building.
