Junction City Parks and Recreation Director Joshua Gray has announced that the Fort Riley Trail has been re-opened for use. The trail may now be accessed from Trooper Drive. Troop Access control point remains closed.
Gray also issued a thank you to the Chamber of Commerce, Military Affairs Council, Fort Riley, and the city's Parks staff for working to restore access to the trail from Junction City. He also thanked the Public Works department for loaning their equipment to clean up the trail.
