Members of the Flint Hills Regional Council will receive a presentation Friday from the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce on the economic future of the region. That will include information on the new Scorpion Biological Services plant. The council will be in session from 9-11 a.m. at the Manhattan City Commission room.
Other agenda items will range from approval of the new executive director, Jerry Lonergan, to a discussion on office space. There will also be a weatherization program discussion and updates from the different communities that are represented on the council.
