GEARY COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 7p.m. Wednesday in Geary County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Toyota Tacoma driven by Zachary P. Bealer, 33, Kansas City, Mo., was westbound on Interstate 70 at McDowell Creek Road
The driver lost control of the pickup. It spun across the median. An eastbound 2020 Chevy Silverado driven by Rhoda Yoder, 32, Trinidad, Colorado, rear-ended the Toyota.
An eastbound 2016 Dodge Ram driven by Kinsey Davidson, 32, Cleveland, Tennessee, struck the Chevy and then the Toyota.
After impact the Toyota came to rest approximately 80 feet down the embankment.
Bealer was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Johnson's Funeral Chapel. There were no other injuries. All were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
