Guest speaker at the Junction City Breakfast Optimist Club on June 24 at the Hampton Inn, was Brett Robison of the Junction City Baseball Association.  He graduated from St Xavier’s High School in 1998.  Brett retired from the  Army in 2015.   He has been coaching since 2016 with the Junction City Baseball Association, which is a non-profit organization to help 200 kids start at a young age to participate in sports. He is now serving on the Board of that organization. 

There are 5 leagues and within those leagues there can be 3 to 6 teams. From T-Ball, Pinto, Mustang, Bronco and Pony.  Any business or organization can either sponsor a league or they can sponsor the overall organization.

Coaches are volunteers, and the umpires are paid through the organization. The Honors Screen Printing and Embroidery helps sponsor the uniforms.  The JC Baseball Association has been in operation for the past 50 years.
