Wind chill advisory remains in effect until 11 a.m. Wednesday

Very cold wind chills expected overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday morning. The National Weather Service forecast wind chills from 15  below zero to as low as 20 below zero.

The wind chill advisory is for portions of central, east central, north central and northeast Kansas until 11 a.m. Wednesday.

The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
