WABAUNSEE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Friday in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Ford passenger vehicle driven by Caban A. Moore, 29, Topeka, was northbound on NW Carlson Road at Hilltop Road. A northbound 2013 Kenworth semi driven by Wesley A Wunderlich, 47, Eureka started passing the Ford in a no passing zone. The semi proceeded to attempt a left into a driveway and collided with the Ford.
EMS transported Moore to Stormont Vail in Topeka. Wunderlich was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
