Rebecca Nordyke, Geary County Clerk, announces the following information for the 2022 General Election which will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022:
1. Remaining hours for Advanced Voting in person at the Geary County Office Building:
Saturday, November 5, 2022 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Monday, November 7, 2022 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Please be sure to bring your photo ID with you. The office is located at 200 E. 8th Street, Junction City.
2. An Advanced Mail ballot, post marked on or before Election Day, will be counted, if received in the County Clerk’s Office no later than Monday, November 14, 2022. Ballots may also be returned, on or before 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, to the County Clerk’s Office or placed in the ballot drop box located in front of the Geary County Office Building or the Milford City Building.
Ballots may be delivered to a polling place by 7:00 p.m. Election Day.
3. On Tuesday, November 8, 2022 all polling places will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Some polling places have construction around them, so please allow extra time to get to your polling place.
4. Sample ballots may be found at the County Clerk’s Office or at www.voteks.org.
