There is a Freedom Fest Fundraiser this Saturday, May 11. The event, called Balloons, Blues, and BBQ will be at Freeman Airport in Junction City.
The fundraiser will feature a car show, three blues bands, barbecue vendors, balloons, and bounce houses.
For the car show, it will run from 2:00-5:00 p.m., with a $35 entry fee per car. There will be a $50 payout per class (car, truck, and motorcycle), and there will also be a $50 best-in-class. Contact Mike Dishman at 785-210-6763 to sign up for the car show.
The fundraiser event will also feature tethered balloon rides. The rides will be at 6:30, weather permitting, and cost $25 each.
The gate entry fee is $10 per person, and children ten years of age and younger are free. The entry fee does not include the BBQ, drinks, or rides.
