Geary County Health Department officials released their latest COVID-19 report on Friday. There was one more fatality, bringing the unofficial total since the pandemic began to 62. Some Geary County residents have been transferred to other counties for treatment during the pandemic.
The report for Geary County showed 69 active cases in the county, down 14. One person was hospitalized. There were 31 new positive cases and 16 recovered cases. Fort Riley numbers and some variant information are not included in the report. The Health Department advises the public to follow KDHE reporting.
