GEARY COUNTY—A Junction City man was injured in an accident just before 1p.m. Wednesday in Geary County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Mercury Sable driven by 24-year-old Aaron M. Smith of Junction City was eastbound on Interstate 70 at Grandview Plaza.
The driver intentionally drove across the median into westbound traffic. The car then vaulted from the north shoulder into a tree line on the north side and rolled.
EMS transported Smith to Geary County Community Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
