Historical Society release
The Geary County Historical Society's annual Hot Dogs and Hot Rods Vintage Car Show and Ice Cream Social is just around the corner. The event will be held on Saturday September 20th from 10am-2pm with a special coffee hour for car owners beginning at 9am.
All pre-1990 cars are welcome and car owners interested in participating in the car show should register online at www.gearyhistory.org/hot-dogs-and-hot-rods or in person at the Geary County Historical Society. Car space is limited so pre-registration is recommended. A trophy for People's Choice and the GCHS "Golden Cone" will be awarded. Along with the vintage car show, the day will be filled with live music from groups including the Kansas Brigade Band and the JCHS Pep Band, hands-on S.T.E.A.M. activities for families, hot grilled food, fresh pies from local 4-H groups and Ice Cream.
