Milford Lake has been selected as a2021 Cabela's Crappie USA Tournament Trail site. The tournament is set for May 16. It will be a two-person team event. There will be an opportunity for a team to win a spot at the national championship.
"We are excited to have a Cabela's Crappie Tournament Trail at Milford Lake. This event will highlight the fishing at Milford Lake, provide positive exposure for our area and increase the economics of Geary County," stated Michelle Stimatze, Director of the Geary County Convention & Visitor's Bureau.
Acorns Resort will serve as headquarters for the tournament.
