--USD 475 Board of Education members have approved a Grounds Custodial and Maintenance Agreement with the firm, HES. The three -year agreement carries a cost of about $18 million.
--They eliminated the AtA Bus contract when it expires in August. There has been some discussion about possibly reimbursing students who might need that transportation to school, but no final action has been taken on that.
--The hiring of Jennifer Gatz as Executive Director of Personnel for the District and Allie Henry as H.D. Karns Alternative School Principal was approved.
--The BOE accepted the retirement of Milford Elementary School Principal Phyllis Boller at the end of the school year.
--Sierra Jackson and Kathi Teeter were hired for the remainder of this school year to serve part-time for Title Schools Teacher Development.
Enrollment fees have been approved for elementary and secondary students plus athletic fees and advanced placement courses.
